1 pound liver
1 cup flour
2 cups cornmeal
½ cup chicken broth or milk
garlic powder to taste (my dogs like a lot!)
Puree liver in a blender or food processor. Add pureed liver and juices to dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Stir together well, adding liquid as necessary. Pour mixture into a greased brownie pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
These brownies must be refrigerated in order not to spoil. They can also be frozen and thawed as needed—but in my house they rarely last that long!
